Byte-Sized Brief
-
EMTs top the list of AI-proof jobs.
-
Many managerial roles also made the list.
-
Jobs with high human interaction are the safest.
What kind of work is actually safe from AI? A study from Eskimoz dug into that question by combining public interaction data with automation risk scores to see where human workers still have the upper hand. Emergency medical technicians came out on top, thanks to their hands-on role. With 100 percent public interaction and a very low automation risk, EMTs were ranked the most AI-resistant job in the US.
Coming right behind them were healthcare social workers, lawyers, and hospital managers, which are jobs that hinge on things like empathy and judgment. Construction supervisors also ranked surprisingly high, outpacing many office roles. Human resources, repair technicians, and operations managers filled out much of the rest of the top 10. The theme is clear: the more your job depends on people and adaptability, the harder it is for AI to take over.
The Bottom Line
EMTs rank as the most AI-resistant workers due to low automation risk and constant public interaction. Healthcare and some skilled trades lead the pack.
