EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The University of Southern Indiana receives a large grant to expand its use of AI in learning.
The university received $150,000  from the Lilly Endowment Incorporated through its artificial intelligence in higher education initiative.
Officials say the grant will help the university further explore how AI can enhance student learning and prepare students for the workforce.
Officials say the grant period will continue thru the end of this year with the planning work helping to shape potential next steps for broader AI initiatives at the university.
